Hola queridos. Everything is going well. My midterm this past Monday was super easy. I got an A+. Later that day I saw Nino con pijamas de rayas... or something like that. The boy with the striped pajamas... with Zak and Ivan (both from the previous study abroad group). It was really sad, but I didn´t cry. The next day... I went to Ivan/Zander´s host family´s house to watch a really horrible French movie dubbed in english with spanish subtitles called the Martyrs. Horrible. Just horrible. The next day (Wednesday) was Zak´s last day here in Ecuador. I ditched my anthropology class so I could get all my spanish homework done and hang out with Zak as much as possible. That was a good decision on my part. We went to a pizza place close to the stadium and watched the National futbol game, Ecuador vs Argentina, and we beat those arrogant baby blue bastards! 2-0, I think it was. After that everyone went home for dinner and then we met up again later that night at Bapu, a nice little hookah bar/restaurant that has delicious cheap shawarmas. I was really really sad to say goodbye to Zak, but this past week has been really nice and special...

Yesterday I did nothing but study. I just finished my midterm for spanish a bit ago... we´ll see how that went. Tomorrow we´re all going to Cajas National Park. I´m super excited.

Yes, I´m eating all the food. Cuy is guinea pig. The skin is tasty. My favorite food by far are all the sopas and platanos.. and platanos here are plantains. Freaking delicious. I could eat them all day.

Aight, I´m off. I need to get some monies from the bank. First time. Hopefully it´s go smoothly.
